More Braille Beading/Cross Stitch Pattern

Wish Upon a Star

I am playing with the french knots design of the program. Originally, I was going to use the beading ones, but I was getting confused. So, I use the french knots program for the beads.

The texts reads I'm wishing on a star to follow where you are. It's the first part of the lyrics to my favorite song "Wishing On a Star."

I want to eventually be able to use the stitching program to accurately depict a picture. Wish me luck!

Lolita Blessing

This is something I did just for fun. Because I've always wanted to design something in Braille. To me, the prospect of using beads to make a textural presentation was what drawn me to doing this. So, I turned a little something I found into a cross stitching pattern. The black dot can be used for beads.

Lolita Blessing

May the brand always stretch to fit you,
may your petti never go flat,
may you always have the good kind of lace,
and your dream dress list be fulfilled,
and until we meet again,
may the glorious, Mana-sama hold you in the palm of his hands.

An Original Design

Here is an original design that I made some ten years ago. I just got around to digitizing it. It's inspired by the Kokepelli trios that I saw in a photograph of a rock painting.

I find him adorable and interesting, because I usually see them without the tails and spines.

Learning to Sketch

Here is a little sketch I made sometimes ago.

Isn't it cute. I'm surprised that it came from me.

Watermelon Jsk

I just was reminded that I need to post this here of the jsk I designed on my own. Yeah, the drawing is first grade level.

This is the over all jsk fabric and bustle.

This is the underskirt rind ruffles.

I haven't had a chance to really do something with this yet. I am stuck on the style of the bustier I want for the upper part of the dress.

Haven't Been On

I haven't been on due to being busy between prepping for inventory at work, getting ready for a big meet up nex Saturday and the film shoot the day after. I've been dealing with respiratory distress and an accident with my hand. I just got myself a pair of steampunk goggles on ebay. It's going to get here by Friday for the big meet and I still need to rig a pair of butterfly wings.

Let's go on to more digitized patterns, shall we:

More Patterns Ahoy!

So, I can't believe how fast this personal project of mine is coming to an end. I already have one whole folder done and the other ones are in the process of being done. After the digitizing is done, I'm actually going to start using some of these and incorporating into some of new projects. I feel a little bit at a loss, because of what would I be doing next kind of feeling. Well, don't mean to be mushy, so here is more patterns from the Rushnychok site.

More Digitized Stuffs

So brought more digitized patterns to you. Still no dolly post, because I forgot to load it up to the computer. I redid some patterns using FireFox screen cap add-on, because I discovered that Google screen cap had borked some of the more complex patterns from the site. Unfortunately, FireFox add-on also has it's on limitations. Fortunately, none of them involve borking the information.

I actually accomplished a lot, since I was able to save the pattern offline and work on it when I'm at work, or at home when I'm not online. I have finished all the patterns in the simple border folder. Now, I'm notching away at the first collection and the second collection. I, eventually, will be stitching some of these patterns onto a smoking cap or too. But, later on that.

Not a Doll Post

I made a stuffed doll and I can't find it to take a picture of it. So, here is some more rushnychok I digitized. In the last week, I've been able to do more digitizing than the last three years due to combinations of better software, better computer and new apps for my search engines. Gotta love technologies.

Back on the Chain Gang

Did I ever mention that Google Chrome screen cap is boss. Without it, I wouldn't been able to do what I'm doing offline. So, here is some more of the patterns I digitized from the Ukrainian rushnychok site. This is from the simple pattern section. Much like my other patterns from the site, it is labeled as it appears on the site.

An Idea

I was looking up some sewing posts in regards to converting a stuffed animals into a cute animal purse. Then, it  dawned on me that Build-A-Bear Workshop sells the plushie unstuffed and you have to get them to put stuffings in it. So, I wondered if they would let me buy it pre-stuffed, this way I can averted the usual struggle with the pre-existing stuffings not allowing enough space for a pouch.

The Matchmaker

This blog post is brought to you by a whole day of searching for some lost patterns. Fortunately, I remembered posting these patterns on the cross_stitch comm on LJ. So, from the resurrected memories of October 16, 2007. Here is the story of The Matchmaker. The story of The Matchmaker involves young genteel miss and a gentle scholar and their misadventures of falling in love. One of the series of misadventure involving the scholar's boss falling for the matchmaker.

New Wig

Trying out a new wig tonight, because it just arrived yesterday and I wasn't able to get hold of the box until today. It is copper blonde in color. I posted some previews earlier on my facebook and asked for concrits. Well, turned out the snow camo I was wearing was too distracting, so I redressed and redon the wig for another snap. This is what came out and everyone said that the wig looks fine on me.
This is my first time going blonde. I think it's pretty good. I've been wanting to get some blonde wigs, and this was my first. Next one, I think I'll try a whiter/paler blonde. I have some Gabalnara wig that should be home with me soon. They messed up my last order, and didn't send one of my ponytail. So, I added a full wig to that order, so that it wouldn't be a waste of another delivery box.

This is the Hizaki wig from 07 Wig on taobao. I can't wait for tomorrow's meetup. I'm charging my camera right now and I also need to get things together for the swap meet. First time, I'm getting rid of some of my things to get other things that I can use more.

I'm running a taobao wig group order atm, and it feels so exciting to be able to see what everyone else want to get. Along with the wig group order, I also got the Star Bag group order with Claudia, Ai, and Flora and my shoes for matching with the red Alice dress I'm ordering from Bodyline.

Aurora Ribbon

So, since early December last year, I've discovered an accessory series from Angelic Pretty that I've never knew about before.

It's called Aurora Ribbon. It comes with headband, barrette, necklace, ring and bracelet.

I have the luck to acquire the bracelet literally days after acquiring the barrette and just a few days ago I acquired the necklace, with a little help from Christine, when she linked me to the sales post with it.

Now, I'm on the hunt for the headband and the ring. Someone contacted me about being interested in selling the ring, so I'm crossing my fingers.

If the ring pans out, then all that I have to do is find the headband.
