These reindeer clips were found at the dollar bins at Target with their eyes missing, since I wanted to get these for my daughter for the holiday, I figured that I'll buy it and just glue a new pair of eyes on. I actually had bought another pair previously the weekends before I bought these pair at another Target. But, after wearing it a few times, I decided to get another pair for my daughter. I think these reindeers are dorky, but cute. Now that I fixed the eyes on this pair, I'm going to put new eyes on the other pair, as the pair I originally got had one of the eyes fell off.

Long Time No Blog
I recently got a beautiful skirt from the egl_comm_sales. It's originally a Jolie Chose skirt. The lace on the back was wonky, so I altered it and then snap the plastic comb off of the matching hair corsage and sewn a metal comb into it.
I really love the color of this lolita set. The skirt is a high waisted skirt, so it's really flattering on my curves. This skirt was seem to be able to tame my Frog Princess petticoat. The epicness of my Frog Princess will be shown in another post for another about a recent meetup I went to.
But, here is a coordinate shot of the high waisted skirt with Frog Princess underneath.
You can see in this shot that the petticoat doesn't look that big, but in real life it is so big. *makes gesture like the big fish that got away* I'm wearing the blouse that I've been lusting forever from Retroscope. Also, got off the comm sales.
I really think I should coord this blouse with the Retroscope bustle skirt that I have one of this day. So, til the next time.

Now, the reason I called this blog Absent Minded Stitcher is because I'm a pretty absent minded person. I also often forget to do things that is on the list of things I'm supposed to be doing.
I hope to keep this blog relatively lively. This will be a personal record to things I've done, too. Since, I've decided that this won't be a strictly cross stitching blog. Once again, click to enlarge.

Rushnychok
Years ago, I encountered a really beautiful site full of russian folk stitching called Rushnychok. As three years previous, I became interested in Russian cross stitching, when I encountered some really beautiful Siberian cross stitching patterns at a book store.
So, in the following year or so I'm going to faithfully plot the patterns from the Rushnychok site into actual viewable pattern. As the pattern from the original site is not printable or transferable. Trust me, I tried.
All the patterns, actually corresponds to the patterns on the original site. Click to download.
